A Stylish Kyoto Kaiseki Restaurant near Tokyo Station and Nihonbashi – Nihonbashi OIKAWA
Nihonbashi OIKAWA is a Kyoto-style kaiseki restaurant that embraces traditional techniques while welcoming guests with a modern atmosphere and sophisticated arrangements. After its renovation on July 18, 2023, the restaurant continues to offer a delightful dining experience, complemented by the friendly owner’s charming and witty conversation.
One of the unique aspects of Nihonbashi OIKAWA is that the owner personally visits Toyosu Market every morning to hand-pick the freshest seafood. These top-quality ingredients, combined with fresh vegetables sourced from Kyoto and other regions of Japan, are crafted into dishes that blend the best of Japanese and Western techniques. Each dish is carefully prepared to highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients and tailored to suit the preferences of the guests.
Signature dishes include the visually stunning "box sushi" and the flavorful "grilled abalone over lava stones," which showcase the freshness of the market's offerings and the skill of the chef. At the end of the course meal, traditional matcha is served to ensure a relaxing conclusion to your dining experience.
Private dining rooms are available for 2-3, 2-6, and 2-8 guests, offering an intimate setting for larger gatherings as well. Whether for a wedding-related family meeting, an important anniversary, or a sophisticated business dinner, Nihonbashi OIKAWA provides the perfect space for any occasion.
